The Sphinx, the most famous and largest of its kind, features a lion’s body with a human head. It was also built during the 4th Dynasty. After lunch, which is included in the price, the tour continues to the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, the world’s largest museum dedicated to ancient Egyptian art from various periods. The museum is located in downtown Cairo, at Tahrir Square, and was constructed in 1900 in a neoclassical style.
