Egypt Time Travel invites you to experience a 9-day unforgettable journey through Cairo and a Nile cruise between Luxor and Aswan, where you’ll explore the most iconic and must-visit tourist attractions in Egypt. This is an opportunity to see the rich history and culture of this ancient land. Here’s an overview of your adventure:
Itinerary
Welcome to Egypt. Upon arrival at Cairo Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred by private A/C vehicle to your hotel at Cairo or Giza.
Overnight in Cairo.
After enjoying a delicious breakfast, you'll meet our expert guide and begin your journey in a private, air-conditioned vehicle.
Your full-day excursion starts with a visit to the Pyramids of Giza, including the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus, which are among the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. You'll also visit the Great Sphinx, dating back to the time of Chephren (around 2620 BC). This visit offers fantastic photo opportunities with panoramic views of these legendary structures.
After the pyramids, you’ll enjoy a lunch at a quality local restaurant.
Next, you'll head to the Egyptian Museum, home to the world’s most extensive collection of Egyptian antiquities. Here, you’ll immerse yourself in the history of Ancient Egypt as you explore priceless artifacts, including the treasures of King Tutankhamun.
After completing the tour, you will be transferred to the train station for your overnight sleeper train to Luxor.

Upon arrival in Luxor, our expert guide will meet you at the train station, and you will be transferred by private, air-conditioned vehicle.
Your Upper Egypt adventure begins with a visit to the East Bank, where you will explore the Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. These magnificent sites feature impressive courtyards and the iconic granite statues of Ramses II, offering a glimpse into ancient Egyptian grandeur.
After the tour, you'll be transferred to your cruise for check-in.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast on the cruise, you will depart by private, air-conditioned vehicle to explore the West Bank of Luxor. Your first stop will be the Valley of the Kings and Queens, where you will have the opportunity to visit the royal tombs. Then, you will head to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a stunning example of ancient architecture, followed by a visit to the two Colossi of Memnon, the massive statues that once guarded the entrance to a temple of Amenhotep III.
After the tour, you will be transferred back to your cruise for the next leg of your journey.

Optional Activity:
- Hot Air Balloon Ride (approx. 30-45 minutes) – Glide over the Valley of the Kings for a breathtaking aerial view of the ancient tombs and landscapes.
Day 5: Nile Cruise – Edfu and Kom Ombo Tour
After breakfast, you will meet your expert guide and depart by private, air-conditioned vehicle for your full-day excursion.
Your first stop will be the Temple of Horus in Edfu, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt, dedicated to the falcon god Horus. Afterward, you'll return to your cruise and enjoy a delicious lunch as you sail toward Kom Ombo.
In Kom Ombo, you will visit the unique Temple of Sobek and Haroeris, dedicated to both the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Haroeris. The temple’s location by the Nile adds a mystical element to the experience.
In the evening, you will enjoy a Galabya party, a fun local event on the cruise where passengers dress in traditional Egyptian clothing, dance, and celebrate.
The cruise will then sail towards Luxor.

Day 6: Nile Cruise – Aswan Sightseeing
After breakfast, you will meet your expert guide and depart by private, air-conditioned vehicle for a full-day excursion in Aswan.
Your first visit will be the High Dam, a monumental structure that controls the Nile River's flow and provides Egypt with hydroelectric power. Next, you'll visit the Philae Temple, an iconic temple dedicated to the goddess Isis, located on an island in Lake Nasser. Your last stop for the day will be the Unfinished Obelisk, an ancient monument still in the quarry where it was being carved.
After completing the tour, you will be transferred back to your cruise.

After breakfast on board the cruise, you will disembark and enjoy an open day at your leisure in Aswan.
For those who choose to explore further, there is an optional Abu Simbel Temple Tour. You will depart to visit the magnificent Abu Simbel Temple, built by Ramses II, which is one of the most impressive monuments of ancient Egypt. The colossal temple was relocated to prevent it from being submerged by the Nile's rising waters. The nearby smaller temple, dedicated to Ramses' wife Nefertari, is also an architectural marvel.
Once your tour is complete, you will return to Aswan and be transferred to the train station. You will board the sleeper train to Cairo for the night.

Abu Simbel Temple Tour
Departure to visit the colossal temples built by Ramses II, showcasing Egypt's ancient grandeur.
Note: If you opt for the Abu Simbel tour, we recommend upgrading to a domestic flight for added comfort and the chance to enjoy an extra night in a 5-star hotel.
Overnight: Sleeper Train to Cairo.
Day 8: Cairo – Sakkara, Memphis & Dahshur Tour
After enjoying your delicious breakfast, you will meet your expert guide who will transfer you by private A/C vehicle for a full-day excursion.
Your day will begin with a visit to the Zoser Step Pyramid in Sakkara, one of Egypt's most fascinating historical and archaeological sites.
You will enjoy lunch at a high-quality local restaurant.
Afterward, you will head to Memphis, the ancient capital of both Upper and Lower Egypt, which dates back over 5000 years to the First Dynasty. Finally, you will travel to Dahshur to admire the Red Pyramid and the Bent Pyramid, two impressive examples of early pyramid construction.
After completing the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Optional Activity:
- Enjoy a 2-hour Nile Cruise dinner with a Folk-dance show.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Cairo Airport for final departure.

- From 6 to 11.99 – 50% of the adult person.
- From 12 – will be treated as an adult and must pay the total price of the tour.

Cancellation Conditions
We don’t charge a cancellation fee for tours canceled for “force majeure” reasons, such as volcanoes, earthquakes, or other reasons. If the cancellation is due to personal or business reasons and we have already incurred costs on your behalf, these costs will be transferred to you.
