8 Day Egypt Tour Cairo & Nile Cruise

Welcome to Egypt! Upon arrival at Cairo Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative. You will then be transferred by private air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel in Cairo or Giza.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at your hotel, you will depart with our expert guide in a private air-conditioned vehicle.

Your full-day excursion will begin with a visit to the Giza Necropolis, where you will explore the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus, which are among the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. You will also visit the Great Sphinx of Giza, dating back to the reign of Chephren (2620 BC). Don’t forget to capture stunning panoramic photos of the legendary pyramids.

You will then enjoy a tasty lunch at a high-quality local restaurant.

Next, visit the Egyptian Museum, home to the world’s most extensive collection of Egyptian antiquities. You will get to experience the fascinating history of Ancient Egypt through its priceless treasures.

After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at your hotel, you will be transferred by private A/C vehicle to Cairo Airport for your domestic flight to Luxor.

Upon arrival in Luxor, you will be met by our expert guide at the airport and transferred to your private A/C vehicle.

Your Upper Egypt experience will begin with a visit to the world’s largest open-air museum on the East Bank of the Nile. You will explore the magnificent Karnak Temple, one of the largest and most impressive temple complexes in Egypt. Then, head to Luxor Temple, where you can marvel at its grand courtyard and the statues of Ramses II.

Afterward, you will be transferred to your Nile cruise, where you will spend the night.

After a delicious breakfast on the cruise, you will be transferred by private A/C vehicle to the West Bank of Luxor.

Here, you will visit the famous Valley of the Kings, where the tombs of many New Kingdom pharaohs are located, including those of Tutankhamun and Ramses II. Next, explore the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, one of Egypt's most stunning and unique mortuary temples, followed by a visit to the Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues guarding the entrance to the temple of Amenhotep III.

After completing your tour of the West Bank, you will return to your cruise.

Optional Activity:

• Hot Air Balloon Ride (approx. 30-45 minutes) – Enjoy a breathtaking flight over the Valley of the Kings for a spectacular bird's-eye view of the ancient tombs and temples.

After finishing your breakfast, meet your expert guide who will accompany you on your excursion.

Your full-day tour will begin with a visit to the Temple of Horus in Edfu, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt, dedicated to the falcon-headed god Horus. After exploring the temple, you'll return to the cruise to enjoy lunch as it continues sailing towards Kom Ombo.

In Kom Ombo, you will visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, which is unique for being dedicated to two gods: Sobek, the crocodile god, and Haroeies (Horus the Elder), the falcon-headed god. The temple offers beautiful views of the Nile and is famous for its symmetrical layout.

In the evening, enjoy a fun and lively local event on the cruise – the Galabya Party, where guests can dress up in traditional Egyptian clothing and enjoy music and dance.

The cruise will then continue sailing to Luxor.

After finishing your breakfast, you will meet your expert guide who will accompany you on your full-day excursion.

Your first stop will be the High Dam, one of the most important and impressive engineering projects in Egypt. It was constructed to control the flooding of the Nile and provide irrigation and hydroelectric power to the country.

Next, you will visit the Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Located on an island in Lake Nasser, this temple complex is known for its stunning architecture and beautiful location. It was relocated to its current island after the construction of the High Dam threatened to submerge it.

Your final stop will be the Unfinished Obelisk, located in the ancient quarries of Aswan. This colossal obelisk, if completed, would have been the largest obelisk ever erected in Egypt. It provides a fascinating insight into ancient Egyptian stone-working techniques.

After finishing the tour, you will be transferred back to the cruise for an evening of relaxation.

• Abu Simbel Temple Tour: A visit to the iconic Abu Simbel Temples, located in southern Egypt, is highly recommended if you wish to witness the magnificent temple complex dedicated to Ramses II and Queen Nefertari, which was relocated to avoid submersion by the rising waters of Lake Nasser due to the High Dam.

After breakfast at your hotel, you will be transferred to Cairo International Airport for your final departure.
