8 Day Egypt Itinerary Cairo, Alexandria & Nile Cruise 

Welcome to Egypt. Upon arrival at Cairo Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred by private A/C vehicle to your hotel at Cairo or Giza.

Overnight in Cairo.

After a delicious breakfast at your hotel, you will depart with your expert guide in a private A/C vehicle.

Your full-day excursion will begin with a visit to the Pyramids of Giza, where you will explore the majestic pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus—three of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. You’ll also visit the Great Sphinx of Giza, which dates back to the time of Chephren (2620 BC), offering the opportunity for stunning photos with panoramic views of these legendary monuments.

Enjoy a delightful lunch at a high-quality local restaurant.

Next, you’ll visit Memphis, the ancient capital of Upper and Lower Egypt, dating back over 5,000 years to the First Dynasty. Then, proceed to Sakkara, one of the most fascinating archaeological sites in Egypt, home to the famous Step Pyramid of Zoser.

Afterward, you will return to your hotel in Cairo for the night.

Day 3: Cairo to Aswan - High Dam, Philae Temple, Unfinished Obelisk

After enjoying your breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred by private A/C vehicle to Cairo Airport to take your flight to Aswan.

Upon arrival in Aswan, you will be greeted by our expert guide at the airport and transferred by private A/C vehicle.

Your full-day excursion will begin with a visit to the High Dam, an engineering marvel that controls the flow of the Nile and has had a significant impact on Egypt’s agricultural and power supply.

Next, you'll visit the Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis, located on an island in the Nile, which is known for its beautiful architecture and history.

Your last stop will be the Unfinished Obelisk, where you’ll learn about the ancient process of obelisk construction and its significance in Egyptian history.

Afterward, you will be transferred to your Nile Cruise ship, where you’ll embark on a relaxing journey toward Edfu.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast aboard the cruise, your guide will meet you and you will be transferred by private A/C vehicle.

Your full-day excursion will begin with a visit to the Temple of Horus in Edfu, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. Here, you will learn about the temple’s history and the significance of Horus, the god of kingship and the sky.

After your visit, you will return to the cruise for lunch while sailing to Kom Ombo. Upon arrival, you'll visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, a unique double temple dedicated to the gods Sobek (the crocodile god) and Haroeris (the falcon-headed god).

In the evening, you'll enjoy a Galabya Party aboard the cruise, a fun local event where guests are encouraged to dress in traditional Egyptian attire. It's a great way to experience some local culture and have fun while sailing down the Nile.

The cruise will continue its journey toward Luxor.

Day 5: Luxor Day Tour - Karnak, Luxor Temple, Valley of Kings, and Hatshepsut Temple

After enjoying your breakfast aboard the cruise, your expert guide will meet you and you will depart by private A/C vehicle for your full-day Luxor tour.

East Bank: Your journey will begin by visiting Karnak Temple, the largest temple complex in Egypt and a prime example of ancient Egyptian architectural grandeur. You'll admire the majestic halls and towering columns, as well as the famous Avenue of Sphinxes that leads to the Luxor Temple. You will also visit Luxor Temple, which is known for its large courtyard and striking granite statues of Ramses II.

Lunch will be at a good quality local restaurant.

West Bank: After lunch, you'll head to the West Bank, an area that houses some of Egypt's most significant ancient monuments. You will visit the Valley of the Kings and Queens, where you will have the chance to explore the tombs of pharaohs, including the famous tomb of Tutankhamun. You'll also visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, one of Egypt’s most remarkable architectural achievements, and the Colossi of Memnon, two massive statues that once guarded the entrance to a temple dedicated to Amenhotep III.

After the tour, you will return to your cruise ship.

After a delicious breakfast aboard the cruise, you will check out and be transferred by private A/C vehicle to Luxor Airport to catch your flight back to Cairo.

Upon arrival in Cairo, our expert guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel by private A/C vehicle. Then, your full-day Cairo City Tour will begin.

Cairo City Tour:

• Egyptian Museum: Start with a visit to the Egyptian Museum, the world's largest collection of ancient Egyptian antiquities. You will have the chance to marvel at thousands of artifacts, including the treasures of Tutankhamun and the iconic mummies of the ancient pharaohs. The museum offers an immersive experience into the world of ancient Egypt, showcasing everything from monumental statues to intricate jewelry.

• Lunch: Enjoy lunch at a high-quality local restaurant, offering authentic Egyptian cuisine.

• Citadel of Salah El-Din: After lunch, head to the Citadel of Salah El-Din, a historic fortress that once protected Cairo from invaders. Here, you will visit the Alabaster Mosque of Mohammed Ali, an iconic mosque designed by the Turkish architect Yousif Boushnaq. From this vantage point, you will also enjoy stunning views of Cairo.

  • The Hanging Church (Saint Virgin Mary Coptic Orthodox Church): This 7th-century church, suspended above the ground, is a major Coptic Christian site and an architectural masterpiece.
