8 Day Egypt Tour Alexandria, Cairo & Luxor

Welcome to Egypt. Upon arrival at Cairo Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred by private A/C vehicle to your hotel at Cairo or Giza.

After enjoying your delicious breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up by our expert guide in a private A/C vehicle for an exciting day of exploration.

Morning: Pyramids of Giza & Great Sphinx

• Pyramids of Giza: Start your adventure with a visit to the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus, three of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Marvel at these massive structures, built thousands of years ago as tombs for the pharaohs.
• The Great Sphinx: Explore the majestic Sphinx, a colossal limestone statue with the body of a lion and the head of a Pharaoh, which dates back to the reign of Pharaoh Chephren (around 2620 BC).
• Panoramic Views: Take some time for photos with the pyramids in the background—perfect for a legendary snapshot.

Lunch

• After a morning of exploration, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, where you’ll experience some authentic Egyptian cuisine.

Afternoon: Memphis & Sakkara

• Memphis: Visit Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt. Memphis was the center of Egypt during the Old Kingdom and is home to several important ruins, including the Colossus of Ramses II, a massive statue of the great Pharaoh.
• Sakkara: Next, head to Sakkara, one of the most exciting archaeological sites in Egypt. Here, you’ll visit the famous Step Pyramid of Djoser, the oldest pyramid in Egypt, as well as the surrounding tombs and structures.

Return to Cairo

• After finishing your tour of Memphis and Sakkara, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Cairo to relax after an eventful day of exploration.

After enjoying your delightful breakfast, you will embark on a three-hour journey to Alexandria in a private air-conditioned vehicle with our expert guide.

Your first stop will be the magnificent Pompay Pillar, which was erected in honor of Emperor Diocletian.

Next, you will visit the Citadel of Sultan Qaitbay, constructed on the site of the ancient Alexandria lighthouse.

Then, explore the Catacombs of Kom El Shokafa, the largest Roman burial site, featuring three levels of rock-cut tunnels that blend Roman and Egyptian artistic styles.

Lunch will be served at a high-quality local restaurant.

Following lunch, you will tour the renowned Alexandria Library and stroll through the Montazah Palace gardens, once home to King Farouk. You will also have the chance to capture some remarkable and unique photographs of Alexandria.

After the tour, you will return to your hotel.

Your full-day excursion will begin with a visit to the Egyptian Museum, the world’s foremost collection of Egyptian antiquities. It houses an extensive range of pharaonic artifacts, offering you a chance to experience the wonders of Ancient Egypt.

Lunch will be served at a high-quality local restaurant.

Next, you will visit the Citadel of Salah El-Din, which was the heart of Egypt for nearly 700 years, along with the impressive Alabaster Mosque of Mohammed Ali, designed by Turkish architect Yousif Boushnaq.

You will then explore Old Cairo, including the Hanging Church, the Church of Abu Serga—where it’s believed Jesus sought refuge—and the Ben Ezra Synagogue.

After completing the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

After enjoying your delicious breakfast at the hotel, you will depart by private air-conditioned vehicle to Cairo airport for your domestic flight to Luxor.

Upon arrival, our expert guide will meet you at the airport and escort you in a private air-conditioned vehicle.

Your Upper Egypt adventure will begin with a visit to the world’s largest open-air museum on the East Bank, where you’ll explore the Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple, taking in their impressive courtyards and the granite statues of Ramses II.

Lunch will be served at a high-quality local restaurant.

After the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel.

After enjoying your delicious breakfast, you will depart in a private air-conditioned vehicle for the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings and Queens, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the two Colossi of Memnon.

After completing the tour, you will be transferred to Luxor airport for your flight back to Cairo.

Upon arrival, our representative will meet you at the airport and escort you in a private air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel in Cairo.
