Upon your arrival at Cairo Airport, our representative will greet you and assist you with the transfer to your hotel in either Cairo or Giza, depending on your preference. Relax and settle in for your overnight stay.

Day 2: Cairo – Pyramids, Egyptian Museum, and Nile Cruise

• Breakfast: Start your day with a delicious breakfast at your hotel.

• Full-Day Excursion to Giza Pyramids and Egyptian Museum:

  • Pyramids of Giza: Depart with your expert guide for an exciting visit to the Pyramids of Giza, including Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus—three of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Don't miss a visit to the Great Sphinx, a timeless symbol of Egypt, which dates back to around 2620 BC. Capture incredible panoramic photos of the Pyramids.
  • Lunch: Enjoy a delightful meal at a high-quality local restaurant, experiencing authentic Egyptian cuisine.

• Egyptian Museum: After lunch, you will head to the Egyptian Museum, home to the world’s most extensive collection of Pharaonic Antiquities. Explore ancient artifacts, mummies, and the treasures of Tutankhamun, and immerse yourself in the history of Ancient Egypt.

• Return to the hotel: After the museum visit, you will be transferred back to your hotel for an overnight stay.

• Transfer to Alexandria: Depart with your expert guide in a private A/C vehicle for a three-hour journey to Alexandria, Egypt's second-largest city and a hub of history and culture.

• Pompay Pillar: Begin your exploration at the Pompay Pillar, an imposing ancient Roman monument erected in honor of Emperor Diocletian. The column stands as a testament to Alexandria's rich history.

• Citadel of Sultan Qaitbay: Next, visit the Citadel of Sultan Qaitbay, a fortress built on the very site of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The citadel offers stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea.

• Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa: Your next stop is the Catacombs of Kom El Shokafa, the largest Roman burial site in Egypt. These catacombs consist of three levels cut into the rock, blending Egyptian and Roman artistic influences. Explore the eerie underground tunnels and learn about ancient burial customs.

• Library of Alexandria: No visit to Alexandria is complete without a trip to the Library of Alexandria, a modern architectural marvel that pays tribute to the ancient library, one of the greatest cultural centers of the ancient world. Please note that the library is closed on Fridays and public holidays.

• Montazah Palace Gardens: Conclude your day by visiting the Montazah Palace Gardens, once the royal grounds of King Farouk. Stroll through lush gardens and enjoy the serene views of the Mediterranean Sea.

• Lunch: Enjoy a delicious meal at a local restaurant, savoring the flavors of Alexandria.

• Return to Cairo: After your exploration of Alexandria, you will return to Cairo.

Overnight in Alexandria: Rest up at your hotel for the night, reflecting on the beauty and history of Alexandria.

• Breakfast: Begin your day with a relaxing breakfast at your hotel in Alexandria.

• Leisure Day: You will have the entire day free to explore Alexandria at your own pace. You can enjoy the city's various attractions, relax by the Mediterranean coast, or wander around the local markets and cafes.

Optional Tours (Additional Fees):

• Al Alamain Day Tour: Take a day trip to Al Alamain, located about 1.5 hours from Alexandria, and explore the historical World War II sites, including the battlefield and military cemetery.

• Khan El Khalili Bazaar: If you're back in Cairo, spend time at the Khan El Khalili Bazaar, one of the most famous markets in Egypt, where you can shop for souvenirs, jewelry, spices, and local crafts.

• Old Cairo Tour: Visit Old Cairo, which includes landmarks like the Hanging Church, Coptic Museum, Ben Ezra Synagogue, and the Amr Ibn El-As Mosque.

• Cairo by Night Tour: Experience Cairo at night on a guided tour, visiting illuminated monuments, the Nile Corniche, and enjoying a dinner cruise with a folkloric dance show.

• Lunch and Dinner: You can enjoy meals at local Alexandria restaurants and cafes at your leisure.

• Return to Cairo: In the evening, you will take a transfer back to Cairo by private vehicle. Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel and enjoy a peaceful night.

• Full-Day Excursion:

  • Sakkara: You will depart with our expert guide by private A/C vehicle to Sakkara, home to the famous Zoser Step Pyramid, one of Egypt's oldest pyramids. This area is rich in history and archaeological wonders, showcasing the early stages of pyramid construction.
  • Memphis: Next, visit Memphis, the ancient capital of both Upper and Lower Egypt during the Old Kingdom. Memphis was one of Egypt's most important cultural and political centers, and you will see the impressive statue of Ramses II and the ruins of this historic city.
  • Dahshur: Finally, head to Dahshur, where you will explore the Red Pyramid and the Bent Pyramid, both significant architectural achievements of ancient Egypt. The Bent Pyramid has an intriguing shape, while the Red Pyramid is the first true pyramid ever constructed.

• Lunch: Enjoy a delicious meal at a local restaurant during the tour.

• Return to Hotel: After the tour, you will return to your hotel in Cairo to relax.
