The day’s adventure starts with a visit to the legendary Pyramids of Giza — home to the iconic pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus, which are among the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. You’ll have ample time to explore and take impressive panoramic photos of these ancient monuments, including the famous Great Sphinx of Giza, which dates back to the time of Pharaoh Chephren (around 2620 BC).

Next, you’ll head to a local restaurant for a delicious lunch, where you’ll enjoy traditional Egyptian cuisine.

Following lunch, you’ll continue your journey to Memphis, which was once the capital of Upper and Lower Egypt more than 5000 years ago during the reign of the First Dynasty. Explore the fascinating archaeological site before heading to Saqqara, one of the most significant and historically rich areas in Egypt. This area is home to the step pyramid of Djoser, which was the first pyramid ever built in Egypt, setting the stage for the majestic structures of Giza.

After an insightful day of exploration, you'll return to your hotel in Cairo for an evening of rest.

After enjoying a hearty breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up by our expert guide in a private A/C vehicle to start your full-day excursion.

Your first stop will be the Egyptian Museum, which houses the most extensive collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts in the world. Here, you'll explore the treasures of pharaohs, including the famous Tutankhamun collection, and immerse yourself in the magic of Ancient Egyptian history. The museum is a must-see for any history enthusiast.

After your museum tour, enjoy a delicious lunch at a high-quality local restaurant, where you can savor traditional Egyptian flavors.

Following lunch, you'll visit the Citadel of Salah El-Din, a historical Islamic site that served as the center of Egypt’s power for nearly 700 years. Within the Citadel, you’ll visit the Alabaster Mosque of Mohammed Ali, designed by Turkish architect Yousif Boushnaq, with its stunning architecture and panoramic views of Cairo.

Next, head to Old Cairo, where you will visit the Hanging Church (Saint Virgin Mary's Coptic Orthodox Church), which is one of the oldest churches in Egypt. You’ll also visit the Church of Abu Serga, where it’s believed that Jesus and his family sought refuge, as well as the Ben Ezra Synagogue, rich in Jewish history.

After this fascinating exploration of Cairo's rich religious history, you’ll be transferred to the train station to catch your overnight sleeper train to Aswan.

Your first stop will be the High Dam, a remarkable feat of engineering that controls the flow of the Nile River and provides electricity to much of Egypt. The dam offers fantastic views of Lake Nasser, one of the largest artificial lakes in the world.

Next, you'll visit the Philae Temple, an ancient Egyptian temple complex dedicated to the goddess Isis. This site was relocated from its original island home to save it from the rising waters of Lake Nasser due to the construction of the High Dam. You'll have time to explore the temple's beautiful structures and intricate hieroglyphs.

Then, head to the Unfinished Obelisk, an impressive monument that offers insight into the ancient stone-cutting techniques of the Egyptians. The obelisk was abandoned in its quarry when cracks appeared during the carving process, leaving it as a fascinating historical relic.

After the day's explorations, you will return to your cruise for a relaxing lunch and enjoy the scenic Nile views as the ship sails toward your next destination.

In the evening, get ready for a fun Galabya party on board the cruise. It's a lively event where guests are encouraged to dress in traditional Egyptian costumes, enjoy music, and participate in dance and games.

Your first stop will be the Temple of Horus in Edfu, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. This ancient temple is dedicated to the falcon-headed god Horus and is an exceptional example of Ptolemaic architecture. You'll have the opportunity to explore its grand halls, towering columns, and detailed carvings that tell the story of Horus and his battles with his enemies.

After your visit to Edfu, you'll return to the cruise for a delicious lunch while sailing toward Kom Ombo. Here, you'll visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, a unique temple dedicated to two gods: Sobek, the crocodile god of fertility and power, and Haroeies, the falcon-headed god. The temple is distinctive for its symmetrical design, with two identical entrances, courts, and sanctuaries, one for each deity.

In the evening, the cruise will host a Galabya party, a lively event where you'll have the chance to dress in traditional Egyptian costumes, enjoy music, dance, and immerse yourself in local culture.

Your tour will begin with a visit to the West Bank of Luxor, which is home to some of the most famous and awe-inspiring ancient Egyptian monuments.

• Valley of the Kings: This legendary burial site is where many pharaohs, including the famous Tutankhamun, were laid to rest. You'll explore the tombs of various rulers, each adorned with intricate wall paintings depicting the journey to the afterlife.

• Valley of the Queens: Here, you'll find the tombs of royal wives and children of pharaohs. It's a quieter area, but equally magnificent in terms of art and history.
